Tutor overview

Simulations are primarily to support learning. It is well established that participants learn most when the simulation experience is wrapped around with a teaching plan that includes introduction and, particularly, debriefing. In a potentially distance-learning environment, these aspects have to be worked out differently from a live contact environment. The Internet medium itself can, of course, assist.

Further, a significant element of learning occurs through the interactions of small teams of people collaborating to make the decisions. Therefore although the simulation can be run as an individual, groups of 2 or 3 are recommended.
